This past month has been full of steps forward and then a few backwards and then a few side steps and then a lot of standing in the same place. But that’s life, right? It’s the messy middle where God tends to do His best unnoticed work.
One day, I know I’ll look back and be amazed at the path God has taken me down, but right now it feels a little blah. Anyone else feel that way?
Needless to say – there has been some movement lately. Including the arrival of some of the products from The Wandering Words kickstarter!!! YAY!!!
This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to join 10 other authors in Rock Hill, SC for the Carolinas Christian Book Event. It was the first time to share about the Wandering Words in “public” with people who don’t know me!
I left so encouraged by the number of people who were interested and excited about The Wandering Words! And look how great it looks set up!
There’s nothing like seeing something you’ve created come to life! I knew when I created The Wandering Words, I wanted a journal and this one is more than I could’ve imagined! If you supported the kickstarter, you’ll be receiving more information soon!!

| Writing Update – I went on another writing retreat at the end of March and wrote 7000 words! YAY. But after that, things have turned a little sluggish. I’m still aiming to get this book finished soon though. Right now I have 18,000 words written. My goal is 55,000, so technically, I’m around 1/3 rd of the way there! |
| Professional Update – Good News! I’ve signed a couple new clients, but they are smaller and one time projects. Which means…I’m still looking for a longterm retainer client! If you know a small business or nonprofit that needs help with newsletters or strategy, send them my way! If you refer someone to me and they sign a contract, I’ll send you a fun Thank You gift.
