Writing Update – Recently, I spent a weekend in Blowing Rock, NC with some lovely writer friends and was able to actually put words on paper for the new Romantic Suspense novel I’ve been thinking on! I’ve hinted at trying a new genre and it was so fun to actually dive back into the fiction world with something new! I was able to write and do some plotting-which is a HUGE success since I’m usually not a planner. Now I have a guideline when I sit down to write again. I’m working hard to find those pockets of time to write fiction for myself, but it’s hard! Pray that I can use my time wisely, because I really want to get this one finished!
I also had the opportunity to teach at the Carolina Christian Writers Conference this past weekend. It’s always fun to speak about newsletters (because what else would I teach on?) and help others see the value of starting and maintaining a monthly newsletter, like this one. Professional Update – I’ve started a couple of new projects for a new client this month and I’m excited about them! They are a little more strategy based, which gives me the opportunity to nerd out a little more.
