Y’all, I wrote a book!

I know you’ve probably heard or seen me talking about it. Some of you have even asked when you can read it. And I can’t wait to share it with the world. First, I have to find someone who can make my dreams of a traditional publishing contract happen. And I’m learning, it’s not as easy as I once thought.

I have two publishing houses interested and plan to send a proposal to them in the next few weeks. That’s amazing!

Ideally, I would like to have an agent before I sign a contract. So while I’m sending out the proposal, I’m also sending out query letters to agents asking for representation, but haven’t received a yes. My goal is to send out a second round of letters this week. 

How can you help? 

1 – Pray that I find the right agent and publisher who believes in this story as much as I do!

3 – Share my email or this post with anyone you think may be interested! 

Part of the proposal is listing how many followers you already have. While that includes social media, a strong email list goes far. I’m starting at the bare minimum. To give you an idea, most publishers will not look at you unless you have at least 10k subscribers. Needless to say, I’ve got a little ways to go! But we have a big God, and I’m praying for big things!
