Happy October! This month has been glorious in Upstate SC and I hope you’ve enjoyed it so far in your neck of the woods!
Life Update
I poured coffee on my computer a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn’t advise doing that. It can wreak havoc on your entire life. Especially if you use your computer every day! Thankfully, I have insurance on my computer and was able to send it off for a repair. Miraculously, it came back to me within a week! I was able to keep working, as I had a sweet friend allow me to use a laptop she wasn’t using.
While my computer was being repaired, I finally made it to see the sunflowers at Biltmore! (I’d planned a trip last year, but it was canceled due to Hurricane Helene.) They are planted along the road between the House and Antler Village, and it was beautiful. It was worth it and then some! Biltmore is always lovely, but it felt extra gorgeous that night. If you haven’t explored the gardens and grounds at Biltmore, I highly recommend it!
Writing Update
My personal writing has slowed way down at the moment, and I’m at peace about it. Don’t worry – I’ve still got lots of ideas and will get back to it, but I’m working on another project that it taking a lot of my time. Which leads me to my…
